This is a free event
Saturday 25 & Sunday 26 Sept @ 10 – 5pm
This 10-minute AR experience is free and suitable for all ages.
A collective Augmented Reality (AR) experience made for five people to explore together, at the same time.
With connected tablet devices, the audience experiences a collection of short dance works inspired by the 2005 masterpiece zero degrees – a collaboration between Sadler’s Wells Associate Artists Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui, Akram Khan and Nitin Sawhney, with sculptor Antony Gormley. 0AR invites you to explore, interact and move around an imaginary digital dance.
Commissioned by Sadler’s Wells and Co-Produced by Biennale de la danse de Lyon 2018
Special thanks to ‘zero degrees’ original creators Akram Khan, Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui, Nitin Sawhney and Antony Gormley
Supported by Arts Council England, Jasmin Vardimon Company, V&A, South East Dance, The Old Market Brighton, Akram Khan Company, Eastman and Ashford Borough Council
