A bespoke workshop created to learn from leading inclusive dance artists (Anjali Dance Company). A high quality physical and engaging day as part of Birmingham International Dance Festival 2022.

Anjali’s workshop will offer you the chance to explore your creativity and learn new and challenging skills in a safe and supportive environment. It will focus on the themes directly explored in the professional duet.

The workshop will contain the following elements: warm up, technical exercises, exploration of creative ideas, dance improvisation, dance-making approaches and a cool down. It will offer an inclusive, enriching, movement-based experience.

Open to people aged 16+, with and without learning disabilities, their workshops are fun, inspiring and motivational. Inclusion is at the heart of Anjali’s work.

• Anjali’s workshops are led by a specialist inclusive team of learning-disabled and non-disabled dancers.
• The company aims to ensure that techniques used in the workshops are accessible to everybody.
