LOStheULTRAMAR appears and go to the streets to astonish the passersby, walking in procession and visiting the parks. They settle in places to interact and share their dance with the public. LOStheULTRAMAR represents a kind of tribe, product of the globalized world.

Foco alAire productions has been founded in Germany in 1999 and from its beginning, their work is characterised by a continuous dialogue and study on performing arts and the role of the body in communication.

The company is co-directed by Marcela Sánchez Mota and Octavio Zeivy. The two directors, with two varied paths and very divergent experiences, share the same for passion for visual arts, cinema, photography, music, literature and theatre.

They appeal to the playful, the ironic, the analysis of oneself and of the “other”.

The creative process is a constant effort to correlate the depth and the shape for establishing a direct connection with the audience.

Their physical-intellectual approach is based on the belief that the theoretical and the practical are intertwined. In other words: the physical sphere, understood as a body, has no reason to exist unless it is supported by the intellectual sphere.

LOStheULTRAMAR is a project that seeks to recover human archaeology in several ways: share, confront and establish a dialogue of all beings towards the Other: the companion, the enemy, the collectivity, space, the forest, the street, the building, the city.

They travel the world and its spaces. Their appearance emerges from the tribal, from congregating, from getting together to celebrate life despite the ills of the world, and survive them.

LOStheULTRAMAR travels geography and history.
