Join Brummy babs, Fatt Projects, as they take over the BIDF public programme for an afternoon with MOBILISE – a huge interactive queer silent disco dance party in Centenary Square.
Get your headphones on and get ready to get your bodies moving, lower your inhibitions, and let loose through the power of queer joy. Expect, drag, live vocals, performance, and plenty of dancing – absolutely no experience required. Our team of artists will lead a series of access-forward simple dance lessons to get even the most timid dancer strutting their stuff in no time. It’s time to turn up the BPM and come together on the dancefloor and we mobilise our bodies and move towards a brighter, queerer future.
The MOBILISE disco is a relaxed sober and access-forward party environment. Experienced through wireless headphones (provided), audiences have the ability to adjust their personal volume levels and take a break from the music at any time by simple removing their headphones.
