Mother’s Meeting presents Queer Through the Ages!

02 Oct 2021

19:30

60 minutes

We want to take everyone through a journey of queer musical history – starting from where we left off – the 70’s disco all the way up to the ’00s.

In 10 minute sections, we’ll go through various decades and highlight some key queer musical moments and milestones through history. With drag performances, DJ mixes and a fun silly game (socially distant).

The sets will include classic 80’s gay icons, highlighting the 80s-90s ballroom scene and ending on the rise of the new gay icons – Beyoncé, Gaga, Christina etc.

Although it’s history we want to still keep it lighthearted and keep the party atmosphere.
