Bygones celebrates how we are shaped by what we overcome and how something challenging can lead to something beautiful.  It explores a past that clings to the present, a connection that runs through space, people, objects and time.

Dancers are in flux.  The movement is rigorous, hyper-detailed and virtuosic.  Ghostly architecture, puppeteering and illusions create a world of phoney things and supernatural selves. Physical lawlessness teases a sense of reality, overthrowing logic and starting afresh. 

The work explores the link between creation and destruction, form and formlessness.  Change is the problem and the solution, earning transformation and the ability to reconnect.
