Welcome to Birmingham International Dance Festival at Midlands Arts Centre from 25 – 26 September.

Enjoy our programme of FREE Family-Friendly shows and workshops. Drop-in or come for the day – there is no need to book for most events.

No alcohol or glass is allowed on site. Picnics / your own food is permitted.


Midlands Arts Centre (mac) has a huge range of theatre performances, music, comedy, plays for children, dance, literature and poetry events, courses in crafts and creative arts, magical family shows, films and free exhibitions on offer.

With two theatres, a cinema, a gallery and other exhibition spaces, performance studios, dance and drama rehearsal spaces, music rooms, a media studio, studios for pottery, textiles, jewellery, sculpture and painting, a community learning area, bar and café, there’s a lot to explore and enjoy!
