As the festival comes to a close this weekend there is still so much to enjoy and most of the programme is FREE.

 

Weekend highlights include:

Beyond Borders Film, available to view for the whole weekend – this amazing, inspirational region-wide participation Dance Development Leaders Group (DDLG) project brought together 13 dance artists, 13 aspiring young leaders, over 120 young people, 3 digital artists and a variety of specialists to collaborate and produce original work in response to #OnewithNature.

Chotto Xenos by Akram Khan Company – the world online premiere of this captivating dance production takes young audiences back in time, exploring the often forgotten and untold stories of World War 1 colonial soldiers.  Available on demand until 6.30pm Saturday.

Gallery 37 Joseph Toonga Workshop – open to all levels over 16+, there’s still time (until 12 noon) to sign up for his workshop at 2pm on Saturday. Get ready to sweat as Joseph takes you through Popping, Krump and contemporary techniques.   Sign up here

City of a Thousand Trades by Birmingham Royal Ballet – filmed on Saturday night at Birmingham REP, this is an incredible chance to see BRB’s latest work.  Available for just 3 performances on Sunday evening.  Book Tickets here

Plus ballet fans both 6-11s and adults 16+ can enjoy two on demand ballet classes with Birmingham Royal Ballet, absolutely free available all day Sunday.
